Positive Thinking And Its Effect On Your Health

This is evidence of the connection between mind and body, and there are many examples of men and women with a positive outlook being able to recover faster from malady and injury. You can also use the power of your mind to help you in achieving your fitness goals. A historic example of this is when the four minute barrier for running the mile was broken, which had been considered as unachievable up to that point. Once the "barrier" had been broken, other runners also began to break through what had really been a barrier of belief.
The effects of aging are likewise influenced by how we think about the process. As you get older, do you talk to your friends about your "aches and pains" and your weakened capabilities? It seems there's a great deal of truth to the saying, "You're only as old as you think you are," and our thoughts can be used to undo a lot of the so-called effects of aging. Unfortunately, numerous individuals will continue to hold on to old beliefs about the unavoidable "decline" of health in old age, and not pay attention to the benefits of a positive outlook.

Mari Kita Mencintai Batik Indonesia

Batik merupakan warisan nenek moyang kita yang di kenal sejak abad XVII yang di tulis atau di lukis pada daun lontar, saat itu motifnya masih di dominasai dengan bentuk binatang dan tumbuh-tumbuhan, dan  pada perkembangannya motif binatang dan tumbuh-tumbuhan lambat laun beralih pada motif abstrak yang menyerupai awan, relief candi, wayang beber dan sebagainya. Jenis dan corak batik tradisional tergolong amat banyak, sesuai dengan filosofi dan budaya masing-masing daerah pembuat batik tersebut.
Sejarah pembatikan di Indonesia berkaitan dengan perkembangan kerajaan Majapahit, dan pengembangan batik banyak dilakukan pada masa-masa kerajaan Mataram, kemudian Solo dan Yogyakarta. Pada awalnya batik dikerjakan hanya terbatas dalam kraton saja dan hasilnya untuk pakaian raja dan keluarga serta pengikutnya. Dalam perkembangannya lambat laun kesenian batik ini ditiru oleh rakyat sekitarnya.
Pada saat ini batik tidak hanya popular di Indonesia saja, tetapi sudah dapat dijumpai di negara-negara lain di dunia seperti Malaysia. Thailand, India bahkan di Afrika. Meskipun demikian batik yang berasal dari Indonesia khususnya Jawa masih sangat terkenal dibandingkan batik dari daerah lain.
Mari kita mencintai batik Indonesia, entah itu batik buatan Solo, Yogyakarta, Pekalongan, Cirebon atau daerah lainnya.
